My name is Averie Lynn and since 2016 I have been studying Graphic Design. I hope to put my education to use soon. Ever since I was young, I have loved to create things, however, I’ve always gravitated towards drawing and painting. It was clear when I grew up I wanted to do something with design. Freshman year of high school I realized I could put my skills to use and become a Graphic Designer.
Currently, I am attending my last year at Johnson & Wales University working towards my bachelor's in Graphic Design. My main focus has been print design. Some of my strengths would be illustration, layout, and pattern design.
Creating patterns is something I truly love to do and is an element that I usually put into my designs. I love designing because for me it’s just so freeing to create something, especially for others. One of my favorite things is when I am working on a project and then suddenly everything just clicks. It’s the best feeling for me.
In the future, I hope to get my designs out into the world and work closely with other designers to collaborate and get feedback from others to improve my designs.
